General Information

Sodium Circulac SL60 is the sodium salt 60% of upcycled natural L (+) lactic acid produced by fermentation from sugars extracted from food residues, to offset the environmental impact of lactic acid production. Sodium Circulac SL60 is suited for multiple applications where the purity and circularity of the materials are essential. Lactic acid is non-toxic to humans and the environment, but concentrated solutions of lactic acid can cause skin irritation and eye damage. They have thus to be labeled with a hazard pictogram and related statements. Lactic acid is readily biodegradable.
