General Information

Sodium Circulac® SL60 is the sodium salt 60% of upcycled natural L (+) lactic acid produced by fermentation from sugars extracted from food residues, to offset the environmental impact of lactic acid production. Sodium Circulac® SL60 is suited for multiple applications where the purity and circularity of the materials are essential. Lactic acid is non-toxic to humans and the environment, but concentrated solutions of lactic acid can cause skin irritation and eye damage. They have thus to be labeled with a hazard pictogram and related statements. Lactic acid is readily biodegradable.
